Who should become a 4C Member?
If you are interested in improving the quality of child care,
YOU should become an Oakland County Child Care Council Member!
Membership is valid for 1 year from the date you become a member.
MEMBERSHIP
Members can acquire knowledge and leadership skills by being a part of an active coalition and network of individuals and organizations working to improve the quality of life for children, youth, and families in Oakland County.
¨ You can choose from individual and corporate memberships and receive special senior and student rates.
¨ Members may serve on committees and task forces that address specific child and family issues.
¨ Members participate in the Annual Meeting
¨ Members can borrow from the 4C educational resource library that includes books and audiovisual materials.
¨ Members can fulfill professional membership requirements for CDA.
¨ Members receive discounts on Oakland 4C training.
¨ Members receive an ID card.
¨ Members’ fees are tax-deductible to the extent the law allows

INDIVIDUAL

Individual members who work for a Child Care Provider that is an Oakland 4C Provider Partner receive a $10 discount. If you aren't sure if you work for a provider partner please give us a call before choosing your option below.

SENIOR/STUDENT
Eligibility: Personal; must also be either over age 60 or a student enrolled in an academic institution; Additional benefits: Quarterly Newsletter; Use of Equipment Lending Program, free lamination (limited); Specially-priced training.

CHILD CARE PROVIDER PARTNERSHIP
Eligibility: Licensed or Registered Child Care Home or Child Care Center
Benefits: Quarterly newsletter; Oakland 4C designation to use marketing material; partnership certificate; listing in directory on Oakland 4C website and handouts. Staff memberships discounted to Senior/Student level.
NON-PROFIT PARTNERSHIP*
Eligibility: Non-profit organization (with less than 50 employees) or a public institution, i.e. school, church, community organization, library
Benefits: Quarterly newsletter; designation to use in marketing material; partnership certificate; Council website directory listing
Annual fee: $125.00
*Non-Profit Partnership level is for the organization only; Individual Membership is required for access to training discount and resource materials
BUSINESS SPONSORSHIP
All Business Sponsors receive the following benefits: Business name listed on Council website; partnership announcement in quarterly newsletter; designation to use in marketing materials; sponsorship certificate
PLATINUM LEVEL
Additional benefits: Named as scholarship sponsor; business name on special event materials; certificate displayed on Council’s sponsorship Wall of Fame; business logo and web link displayed on Council website; business logo in quarterly newsletters; lapel pins
