Position: Day Care group home assistant
Job description: Assist day care leader with child care for infants and toddlers ages 14 weeks to 3 years. Change diapers, clean up after children, follow direction of lead teacher and support her direction for a successful day for the children. Requires help in preparation of meals, cleaning up in the kitchen, clean up of craft areas, putting away toys, reading stories with children, going outside to play and supervise children. Help ensure the safety and well being of the children in attendance.
Hours required: Tuesday and Thursdays 8am - 4pm
Salary: $8.00 an hour
Qualifications: CPR/FA certification current or within 45 days of hire, recent hands on experience with infants/todders, willingness to complete additional training required by the State of Michigan DHS.
