How to Log onto the eLearning
1. Determine what Internet Browsers you are currently using.
a. The recommended browser is Mozilla Firefox.
b. If you do not have Firefox, you can download it for free by typing in www.mozilla.com into the address bar and follow the simple steps.
2. Click on the Firefox icon to get the internet.
3. In the address bar type: http://www.oaklandchildcare.org/elearning to get to our eLearning server and online courses
4. Type in your user name, which was provided via you email confirmation.
a. If you are a student, the username is usually the first letter of your first name, first letter of your middle name, and first six letters of your last name.
b. If you are a staff or faculty member, the username is usually the eight first letter of your last name.
7. Type in your password, which will be provided via email and you will be requested to change the 1st time you log on. The password is 6 to 8 characters.
8. Click on "Login" button to enter into the eLearning main page.
If you do not remember your user name and/or password, click on Forgot your password, towards the bottom of the page. In the new window, click on Continue to Change/Reset/Obtain Password and follow the few simple steps.
9. Review the important information and updates on the left side of your eLearning home page.
10. Review the courses you are registered for on the right side of your eLearning home page.
11. Select the desired class by clicking on the course title.
