Quality child care does more than benefit children. it strengthens families and entire communities.  By reaching business leaders, law enforcement, school teachers, government officials, medical professionals and others, the Oakland County Child Care Council makes child care an issue for which the whole community cares.

We collaborate with other family support services to provide a holistic vision for child care.  We are dedicated to informing communities about the important links between early learning and school readiness.  By working directly with families and child care providers, our organization has a unique ability to gather information on the local supply and cost of child care.  We are able to track the trends of the changing needs of Oakland County's families.
